Zoe Burton . . . lives in a 100-plus year old house in the snow-belt of NE Ohio with her two Boxers. A former Special Education Teacher, she fell in love with Jane Austen’s works in 2010, when she caught the tail end of Pride and Prejudice 2005 on TV. From there, she bought all the novels Miss Austen wrote, in the process finding Jane Austen Fan Fiction. When she ran out of new stories to read (and grew tired of re-reading all the old ones), she began to write her own.

In her free time, Zoe likes to read, crochet, embroider, and watch NASCAR racing. Zoe is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and JASNA Ohio North Coast. She is a PAN member of the Romance Writers of America, the Northeast Ohio RWA chapter, and the Beau Monde.

Though she chooses Darcy, Elizabeth is not happy. It takes weeks of being in his presence and learning his character, and the drama of people totally unrelated to her, to make Elizabeth see that that the consequence of her decision could possibly be a deep, abiding love.
