Her Criminally Funny Fables series includes: The Secret Diary of Alice in Wonderland, Age 42 and Three-Quarters; Wendy and the Lost Boys; Zo White and the Seven Morphs; Cold Case Morphs.

Among Barbara’s Jane Austen-inspired books, one can find Darcy’s Honeymoon, Mister Darcy’s Secret, Mister Darcy’s Christmas, My Fair Lizzy, Darcy and Elizabeth: Simon’s Christmas, Darcy and Elizabeth: Will’s First Christmas, Mister Darcy’s Templars, Lizzy’s Love Apprentice, Darcy’s Royal Dilemma, Mister Darcy’s Dogs, The Gallant Vicar, The Return of the Gallant Vicar, Darcy Down the Rabbit Hole, Mister Darcy’s Maltese Falcon, The Witches of Longbourn, Darcy, Lizzy and Lady Susan, Pansy Cottage, Darcy, Lizzy and Emma, Darcy and Elizabeth: Serendipity, Happy Christmas from the Darcys, and Darcy’s Magical Message.

She was a dear friend and is missed. Some of us knew of her passing the day she died. She had a very interesting life but unfortunately her health declined in the last few years. She had a super great personality and a great sense of humor. Hugs Barbara and hope you are spreading your humor wherever you are.

I have only just found out that Barbara had passed away in February and I’m devastated! I had the joy of narrating many of her wonderful P&P variations, beginning with ‘The Gallant Vicar’ and it was such a delight to work with her on those as well as her modern Mr. Darcy adventures and The Witches of Longbourn series. I will be forever grateful to her for not only entrusting her wonderful stories to my voice but also for recommending me to other P&P authors. My condolences to her daughter and family. Rest in Peace, dear Barbara.

My forever friend was a brilliant author, creative designer with an extensive humor all her own and we have lost a a great talent and she was very brave. She was our cookie and sweetie and will be missed by all. My heart is broken but she must be dancing and smelling the flowers in heaven.

I am so very saddened by Barbara’s passing. We were neighbors as children and reconnected about a year ago. She was a joy. She and her family are in my prayers.
